IASK : un FORUM pour toutes les nationalités et toutes les modalités.

L’IASK a été fondée aux Etats-Unis en 1987 dans le but de réunir tous ceux qui pratiquent l’art du test musculaire / monitorage musculaire dans le monde entier. L’IASK est organisée pour ses membres et par ses membres.

Vous trouverez dans les Statuts de l’IASK les définitions suivantes : ” La Kinésiologie Spécialisée est l'art consistant à évaluer les systèmes énergétiques d'une personne en utilisant le test musculaire de précision comme mécanisme de biofeedback. En utilisant ce même instrument de feedback, le Kinésiologue Spécialisé détermine les protocoles appropriés pour promouvoir, restaurer et maintenir l'équilibre à l'intérieur de ces systèmes énergétiques.

Un Kinésiologue Spécialisé est un membre actif de l'IASK qui utilise les méthodes de Kinésiologie Spécialisée et un modèle pédagogique pour sensibiliser ses clients à l'importance de leur propre bien-être et pour améliorer leur disposition à le favoriser.”

Lors de l’Assemblée Générale de 2000 en Hollande, un groupe de membres de l’IASK a rédigé un préambule aux Statuts : “Les membres de l'IASK s'entraident, s'inspirent et s'enrichissent les uns les autres dans leur pratique professionnelle et leur évolution personnelle. La mise en commun au niveau international des connaissances, du savoir-faire et de l'expérience de chacun peut devenir une source extraordinaire de croissance et de créativité.”

En lisant ceci vous avez peut-être vous aussi envie d’adhérer à l’IASK. Vous pouvez devenir membre régulier, membre associé ou membre sympathisant. Rien de plus facile ! Vous trouverez toutes les informations nécessaires sous l’onglet ‘Adhésion’ et le formulaire d’adhésion ainsi que le Code Ethique téléchargeables en cliquant sur l’onglet ‘Downloads’. Il suffit de nous renvoyer le formulaire complété et le Code Ethique signé avec votre règlement, et le Home Office de l’IASK vous renverra votre certificat de membre !

Report from the President 2008 – 2009

Another year has gone, and it is time for the annual report from the President and the Board of IASK. 

In 2008 our Annual General Meeting took place in Barcelona, Spain. The IASK Board was invited to participate in the Conference “Kinesiology and Quantum Physics”, which took place at Blanquerna, the University Ramon Llull. Two of the IASK board members gave a presentation at this conference.
The attendees at the AGM gave the Board permission to give discharge to the two board members, who had resigned only one year after having been elected for positions on the Board. Sylviane Benacher-Vrillonneau kindly agreed to do the follow up on the accounts. We are all very grateful that she agreed, as one of the board members, who resigned, was the newly elected treasurer.

The work since September 2008.
In Barcelona the Board held two meetings during the two day conference, profiting from the fact that 4 of the 6 board members were present. Our next “physical” meeting was held in France. Once again we spent two days together working all day and part of the night as well. Our own opinion is, that we get a lot of work done, and we have time for smiles and laughter as well.  Besides these meetings we have had conference calls every month, using Skype. A wonderful invention, when we live in 6 different countries spread over three continents.

As 2008 wasn´t the year for elections, we decided to continue the work with just 6 board members, plus hiring a person who could do the “home office-work” as an assistant to Sylviane as well as to the whole board.  We contacted several persons asking them if they would be willing to be nominated for positions at the IASK Board, when the next elections should take place in 2009 during the conference in Washington DC. Two people have accepted, Mia Dall Naf from Sweden and Denyse St. Arroman from France. We still have positions available on the board, so please consider nominating yourself – which IS possible.

As I stated last year: we can promise you, that you will be very welcome, and there is work to be done, and fun to share.

Conference 2009

            Some changes have occurred re. the conference arrangements, which has meant many conference calls between Marge Bowen, EnKA-President, my self and different persons from the TFHKA-board. Finally things came to a solution, and we can look forward to meeting old and new kinesiology friends in Washington DC July 17th through 20th.  You have received all the information in the January newsletter, which was sent snail mail to all members. It has also been available on the website of IASK with the link to the TFHKA, who is responsible for registration etc. The total program can also be downloaded from the IASK, EnKA and TFHKA websites.
We are glad to be part of this joint venture between our three organizations. Speakers from all over the world will come and share their knowledge with each other and with all the participants. Your IASK president will be among the presenters. Among other things I will give a report on the project “The Kinesiological Body”, which was initiated and has been carried through by some researchers from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. 

Plans for 2010 and 2011

The AGM in 2010 will be held May, 27th in Copenhagen, Denmark. Donna Eden and her husband David Feinstein, author and co-author of ‘The Energy Medicine Book’ will be giving a workshop in Denmark at that time.
Birgitta Birath from Sweden, who does not want to be re-nominated for a position on  the board, has nevertheless volunteered to make arrangements for the Conference in 2011. This time we will be going to Stockholm, Sweden, and we will put together a two day program with good international presenters. Thank you, Birgitta, also for the good and consistant work you have been doing during your years on the board.

On behalf of the IASK Board I will encourage ALL members of IASK to contribute with whatever you can in spreading information about our worldwide association. Together we are stronger than alone.
